The Internet has revolutionized the way we communicate, and made it easier than ever to send and receive information. However, although email is fast and convenient, it is not secure. You should NEVER send confidential or sensitive information via email - not health information, not financial information, not personal identity information.
To bridge the gap between security and convenience, Cardiology Consultants Medical Group is proud to provide our patients with access to the NextMD Secure Patient Portal, where you can securely:
- communicate with our doctors and staff
- request and schedule appointments
- request medication refills
- get lab results
- review and update your contact and insurance information and medical history
- receive statements
- pay your bill
- get access to reliable, up-to-date medical research
When there's information waiting for you, you'll receive a notification letting you know to log in to the portal. No confidential information will be sent to you via email.
The first time you visit the portal, you'll need a code called an "enrollment token" - just talk to our office staff, make sure they have your email address, and they'll help you get started.
